Y5/6 Parachutes in Science

In Science, Y5/6 have been learning about air resistance. They made parachutes in two different sizes, and investigated which one would fall the quickest. The children then went outside with the parachutes to feel the air resistance while they were running around. Everyone loved this activity, and had so much fun! #WeAreAlwaysLearning

Y5/6 Industrial Revolution

This week, Class 4 have been looking at primary and secondary sources of evidence from the Industrial Revolution, and discussing the usefulness of it. They worked in groups to rank the evidence, and explained why they had put them in that order.  Great work, well done Y5/6! #WeAreAlwaysLearning

Y1/2 Book Corner!

This week, Class 2 have been enjoying a variety of books from different authors. They have looked at non-fiction and fiction books, and identified the features of texts. The children have discussed their favourite stories and named the title, author, and illustrator.  Fantastic work, well done everyone! #WeWorkHard

History in Y5/6

This week in History, Class 4 have been looking at sources of evidence from the Industrial Revolution, and decided whether they were primary or secondary sources, then explained their decisions. They also learned about the jobs that children were expected to do during this time period.  Great work, well done! #WeAreAlwaysLearning

Class Pet in Foundation!
