This week, Year 5 and 6 have been learning to read and play written sheet music on the glockenspiel. After practising the basic notes and rhythms, pupils put their skills into action by working in pairs to perform duets.
Playing together helped them develop their listening skills, keep a steady tempo and support one another to create a harmonious performance. It was a great opportunity to build their musical confidence while learning the importance of teamwork. Well done!
