On Tuesday, Class 1 had a very important visit from the Road Safety Team. The children learned all about how to keep themselves safe when they are near or crossing a road. The team explained why it is important to always be aware of cars, bikes, and other vehicles, and how small actions can make a big difference in keeping safe.
The children also had the chance to practise crossing the road safely, using the golden rules – stop, look, and listen before stepping out to cross. They worked brilliantly together, showing great listening skills and remembering to check both ways before moving.
It was a really fun and practical session, and the children now feel more confident about staying safe when they are out and about. A huge thank you to the Road Safety Team for visiting us and helping Class 1 become more road smart!
