History in Y6

Last week, Y6 made a fantastic start to their History learning as they began exploring the topic of World War Two.

In their first lesson, the children investigated the key causes of the war and learned about the different countries that were involved in the conflict. They then worked together to place significant events in order on a timeline, helping them to see how the war unfolded step by step.

The class showed great curiosity and enthusiasm, asking thoughtful questions and showing a real eagerness to learn more about this important period in history. It’s an exciting start, and we can’t wait to see their knowledge and understanding develop as the topic continues.

Well done, Y6!
