Y6 Volume in Maths

Recently in Y6, the children have been learning about volume in their Maths lessons. To begin, they used cubes to calculate volume by counting them. They then realised that two shapes can have the same volume, but look different. As their knowledge developed, they moved onto using a formula to calculate volume, the formula being LxWxH.
