Class 4 have been learning all about the classification of living things. They began the lesson with some images of objects and living things, and arranged them into groups. They discussed as a class how each group had similar and different categories. They then narrowed the pictures down to living things only.
After learning about the classification system and the characteristics of different animals, Y5/6 played a game called ‘Guess Zoo.’ They held a card on their head and had to ask yes/no questions based on classification to guess their animal, it was great fun.
