Before Christmas Year 5 & 6 children worked alongside members of the Department of Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
Together we investigated a variety of forces by designing our own bridges and parachutes. Team Foljambe really had to pull together as experiments didn’t always go to plan but our resilience shone through! I was so proud of how well the children solved problems and pulled together.
We really looked forward to our Wednesday afternoon’s together and are grateful for the time our student friends gave up to work with us.
