Class 1

Meet your teacher

Mrs Davis

Hello! My name is Mrs Davis. I’m so excited to be your teacher this year and can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you. I really enjoy teaching the schools littlest children – its such a special time full of fun, discovery, and big smiles! One of my favourite things to do is read, because stories can take us to magical places, and I hope we’ll share lots of them together in our classroom. When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my family. We enjoy playing board games like Uno and Cluedo, and visiting the seaside to build sandcastles and dip our toes in the sea! I’m really looking forward to the adventrues we’ll have together this year!

Meet your teaching assistants

Mrs Lawery

Hello everyone, my name is Mrs Lawery.
I am so excited to be your teaching assistant in September. It is so lovely to watch children grow and learn. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you.

I have worked at Foljambe Primary for 30 years. I love to read and share books with children of all ages. At home the things I like most are spending time with my family. I also enjoy baking, sewing, knitting and gardening.

Miss Hatherley

Hello everyone!

My name is Miss Hatherley, I will be your teaching assistant whilst you are in foundation stage. I love working in foundation, I think it’s such a magical age, the transformation children go through in such a short space of time is wonderful to see and very special to be a part of.

I am a very proud Mum to 3 wonderful boys, my house is very busy! I love travelling in my caravan, my favourite place in the whole world is Cornwall. Me and my children love body-boarding in the Cornish sea!

Some of my very best friends are other teachers within this school, we make a very good team! We are all so excited for you to join us. See you all in September!
