Year 6 have had a wonderfully festive end to the term, filled with memorable activities and celebrations.
The term kicked off with a fantastic KS2 performance of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, where the children showcased their confidence, teamwork, and enthusiasm on stage.
The pupils also made Christingles and visited the church to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, enjoying a thoughtful and reflective moment during the busy season.
Excitement was high with a surprise visit from the Grinch, followed by a very special visit from Santa himself, who brought a gift for every child in the class.
The children also celebrated their final Christmas dinner at primary school, a special milestone for our Year 6 pupils, before heading to Gainsborough Academy to watch their performance of Matilda, which was a wonderful experience for everyone.
The festive fun continued with the Year 6 Christmas party, where pupils enjoyed celebrating together at the end of term. In class, the children also made tree decorations to sell at the Christmas fayre, and created cards and calendars to share their creativity with their families at home.
To round off the festivities, the Year 6 pupils who attended boosters this term were treated to a special session decorating gingerbread trees and snowmen, which was great fun and a sweet way to finish the term.
We are incredibly proud of all our Year 6 pupils for their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm this term. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy 2026, and thank you as always for your continued support!
