This week, Year 6 visited Crucial Crew at the Lifewise Centre in Rotherham.
Throughout the day, pupils took part in a range of interactive workshops and role-play scenarios designed to teach them vital life skills that will help them stay safe and make responsible choices as they grow older. They learned about road safety, fire safety, water safety, how to travel safely by bus, and important topics such as child exploitation and knife crime awareness.
One of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity to take part in a mock magistrates’ court, where pupils stepped into different roles to gain a real insight into how the justice system works.
The day was both educational and eye-opening, helping our pupils develop confidence, independence, and a greater understanding of how to keep themselves and others safe in everyday life.
Well done, Year 6!
