This week, Class 2 have started their new writing unit based on The Bog Baby by Jeanne Willis. The children discovered a special letter from a creature, that told them the creature was trapped and needed to be rescued. For their first task, they wrote down ways in which they could help the creature, as well as discussing any ideas with the class. They then looked closely with magnifying glasses to try and find the creature, this generated lots of fantastic descriptive vocabulary which pupils will use in their writing going forward.
