Writing Skills in Y6

Y6 pupils have been working hard on their biographies of Anne Frank, using their history learning to write confidently and accurately about her life. They have focused on organising events in chronological order and selecting key details to show how Anne’s experiences changed over time.

In their writing, the children have been experimenting with a range of sentence structures, using different conjunctions and punctuation to create clear, cohesive and engaging biographies.
