Year 3/4

Welcome to Year 3/4

We are really looking forward to seeing you back into school in September. We have missed seeing your smiley faces but we have been so proud of how you have carried on your learning at home over the last few months. You are all Foljambe stars!

Meet your teacher
Mr Nicholson

Hello! My name is Mr Nicholson and I am your Class Teacher.

I care passionately about Primary Education and making sure children get the very best start in school. I can say this as a father of two children and as a professional who has worked within the education system for the past 23 years in several schools across the Sheffield and Rotherham regions.
Over the past six years, I have been fortunate to work within the Wickersley Partnership Trust across three schools as a senior Leader. Having worked at Foljambe for a year, I know how special our school is. The children always strive to be the best they possibly can be, in all that they do. I am proud of Foljambe Primary and will do all I can to continue to enhance and affirm its strengths and values. I cannot wait for our class to be together in the Autumn term.

This year’s main topics:

We have many new learning experiences planned for you across the year including, science topics that will involve learning about living things, forces and materials. Other exciting topics include learning about Invaders through time, Predators, Tremors and Mighty Metals.

Meet Year 3/4 Staff
Miss Longden (Teaching Assistant)

Hello my name is Miss Longden and I have been working at this wonderful school for 6 years as one of your Teaching Assistants. I have 3 Nephews and 1 Niece and I spend most of my time with them- taking them to the parks or going to the cinema. In my spare time I like to read books and travel. I love going to Scotland and seeing all my family there. I can’t wait to meet you all in September for a fabulous year!
